Apply liberal coat to the outer surface of the pipe end and the inner surface of the fitting socket using a dauber supplied with the can or other suitable applicator. Do not puddle primer into the socket. Unlike pipe cleaner do not wipe off primer. Apply cement according to the instructions on the label of cement while primer is still wet. PURPLE PRIMER WILL STAIN MOST MATERIAL AND CAN NOT BE REMOVED. HANDLE WITH CARE
